The Golden Horde was a Mongolian state in southern Russia early the thirteenth century. The leader of this land was one of the sons of Genghis Khan, Batu, who led the "Blue Horde" from the east and gradually added more territories until founding the notorious Golden Horde. All this happened in the Crusaders time.
